The Age of Global Baloney

We live in an age of global baloney

Leader wannabe’s all cue card reading phony’s

Reported news leaves readers intellectually destitute

And reporters have most become ‘press-titutes’

While the war of terror seems to go on forever

I’ve had it up to here with enhanced security measures

Children brainwashed believe killing a good time

For military service – psyched to get in line

From the earliest of ages with slick games and song

Contradicting lessons how we came to be and get along

Sign right here, it’s “Call Of Duty-Gears Of War-an-Halo all rolled into one

Now here are REAL GUNS, Kill, Kill, Kill, oh, what fun

So here we are in the Age of Global Baloney

And we are ruled by cue card reading phonies

So many getting by at near slave wages

Getting arrested for posts on facebook pages

While the war of terror seems to go on forever

I’ve had it up to here with enhanced security measures

  1. This is my favorite poem i read so far. So many in roles of Leadership fall very low. So… we trust God & follow Him . Too many see a President as a Savior. They will end up disappointed. We’ve gone far downhill since we had courageous heroic leaders like Washington. Thks for your writing
