Lies and deceit ripped ‘em right off of her

Newcomer deceivers erased 1000’s of tongues and nations

Then fenced the rest onto Indian Reservations

Up is down – Left is right – Good is evil – Weakness is might

Yes means no – Maybe not – Means most definitely

Treacherous objectives every native’s treaty

 

I have native-blood in my veins

I have Celtic and Euro-blood in my veins

Because of what ancestors did – We are all shamed

But don’t look at my skin and apply blame

First befriended then discarded like bones by vultures

In 400 years evolved in a new kind of bigotry
